1. Attendance: This is a critical part of
the acceleration of your child’s learning. Please have your child here everyday
and on time in the class line in the front yard at 8:30 a.m. everyday. Any student not in line with us will be marked
late.
2. Absence: If your child is absent, an absence note is due within three days.
Any student that is out for three or more days in a row is required to present
a doctor’s note when returning to school.
3. Please, no toys, games, or valuables from
home. These are very precious and I do not want any of your child’s
belongings from home to possibly get lost, damaged, or stolen at school.
4. Cell phones: Cell phones are not
permitted in school. If a students is found with a cell phone it can be taken
away. If a child needs to have a cell phone in school it will be collected, locked away for the day, and returned at the end of the day.
5. Lunch: If you send in any extra drinks
or snacks for your child to eat at lunch, please make sure to place them in a
brown lunch bag, plastic bag, or lunch box. No soda is allowed for lunch, or black bags full of candy and chips from the corner store.
6. School Uniform: The required school
uniform consists of a white or red polo shirt, navy blue pants, and dark
colored shoes. Shirts are expected to be
tucked in at all times, except for gym shirts on gym day.
